Used stable block, 3 stables, tack room, hay barn

These stables have served us well but as we need to lay a new concrete base they are available. Originally supplied by Ascot Timber Buildings. Well-maintained over the last 30 or so years, using Cetol 7 on three sides and wood stain on the rear plus repairs as needed.

The block consists of three stables (12x12, 12x12, 15x15), a hay barn (18x12) and a tack room (6x12).

The framing is 100x50mm and the cladding is 16mm shiplap. The stables are lined to 4ft with solid planks.

The roof is built with purlins, boarded and covered with Onduline. The Onduline is at the end of its life and will probably not all come off in one piece. A green mineral felt would be a good budget replacement (as originally supplied), or Onduline again. With regular maintenance this block should last another 20 years, or more.

To be sold as one block with dismantling and transport by the buyer at an agreed time, likely late May or June. A small truck or large trailer can get right up to the stable block for easy loading.
